In Siargao, the nearest public hospital is Siargao Island Medical Center (SIMC) in Dapa; more complex cases are referred to Caraga Regional Hospital in Surigao City on mainland Mindanao, reached by ferry. In El Nido, the nearest public hospital is El Nido Community Hospital; Northern Palawan Provincial Hospital in Taytay and Ospital ng Palawan in Puerto Princesa (a full referral center, several hours away by road) serve more serious cases. We can help you understand these options, but we are not a substitute for emergency transport.
